Prof. Dr. Momen Kamel is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Assiut University Hospital, Assiut, Egypt. He also served as a research fellow at Frieborg University in Germany. He is the Director of the Assiut Center for IVF & ICSI and the Executive President of the Egyptian Foundation for Reproductive Medicine and Embryology (EFRE). He is a member of the Egyptian Board of Diploma for Reproductive Medicine and Surgery (DIRMS) in collaboration with Birmingham Hospital, England, and a member of the Board of the Advanced Professional Embryology Certification Program (APEC). Prof. Dr. Kamel has authored numerous publications in international journals, including Human Reproduction and Fertility and Sterility. He has served as a chairperson and speaker at many national and international conferences and acts as a referee for several national and international journals. He has obtained research grants from the German Research Foundation and received the Best Research Award at the ASRM Conference in 2016. In addition to his academic and research roles, Prof. Dr. Kamel serves as a Counselor of Forensic Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Egyptian Ministry of Justice. He has been the President of the International Conference of the Assiut Center for IVF & ICSI for the past 30 years. His special interests include IVF/ICSI, gynecological and endoscopic surgery, and gynecological endocrinology. He has conducted more than 150 hands-on skills workshops in infertility, IVF/ICSI, and gynecological endocrinology.
