Professor Mohamed Ahmed El-Sayed Mohamed Emam is a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt. He obtained his MBBCh degree in 1980, followed by an MSc in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 1987 and a PhD in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Infertility in 1992, all from Mansoura University. He has served as Scientific Director of the Mansoura Integrated Fertility Center since 1999 and previously held the position of Director of the Early Cancer Detection Unit. Professor Emam has been a Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Infertility at Mansoura University since 2002, following a progressive academic career from resident physician to assistant professor. He is the founder of the Early Cancer Detection Unit within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mansoura University. His clinical and academic expertise includes infertility management, assisted reproductive technology, gynecologic ultrasound, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and colposcopy, supported by advanced training in Assisted Reproduction at Warwick University, Coventry, UK. His subspecialty interests focus on early detection of gynecological malignancies, assisted reproductive technology, infertility management, and gynecologic ultrasound and endoscopy. Professor Emam is an active member of several professional societies, including EFSS, ESHRE, MEFS, ASRM, and the Egyptian Society of Obstetrics & Gynecology. He has authored and co-authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and has supervised more than 80 Master’s and Doctoral theses in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Infertility.
