Professor Ahmed Mahmoud Moustafa Badawy is a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt. He obtained his MBBCh degree with honors in 1987, followed by an MSc in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 1992 and an MD in 1998 from Mansoura University. He also holds the FRCOG from the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (London) and a PhD in Reproductive Medicine from the University Medical School of Utrecht, Netherlands, awarded in 2008, with doctoral research focusing on ovulation induction therapies . He has served as Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Mansoura University since 2008 and was appointed Director of the Mansoura University Regenerative Medicine Program in 2013. His previous academic leadership roles include Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Associate Professor, Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer at Mansoura University. He also completed international clinical and research training in gynecological endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery in the United Kingdom and received advanced training in reproductive endocrinology and assisted reproductive technologies in the United States . Professor Badawy is an internationally recognized academic with extensive research output, including 79 Scopus-indexed publications and a high citation record. He has supervised numerous Master’s and MD theses, authored and contributed to several university textbooks in obstetrics and gynecology, and served as Acting Editor-in-Chief of the Egyptian Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecologists. His professional contributions include membership and fellowship in leading international societies such as RCOG, ESHRE, ASRM, ACOG, and BSGE, as well as service as a reviewer for major international medical journals .
