OBSERVATIONS ON THE EFFICACY OF PLATELET-RICH PLASMA (PRP) ON ANTI-MÜLLERIAN HORMONE (AMH) LEVEL MODIFICATIONS IN PATIENTS WITH DIMINISHED OVARIAN RESERVE (DOR) UNDERGOING IN VITRO FERTILIZATION (IVF) AT HANOI OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY HOSPITAL FROM AUGUST 2024 TO FEBRUARY 2025
To evaluate the effect of autologous PRP on anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) levels in patients with diminished ovarian reserve undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF).
An interventional study was conducted on 28 women with AMH < 2 ng/mL undergoing IVF at the Department of Assisted Reproduction and Andrology, Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, from August 2024 to February 2025. All patients received intraovarian injection of autologous PRP. Changes in AMH levels were assessed and analyzed according to age and antral follicle count (AFC).
Following PRP injection, AMH levels increased in 75% of patients, remained unchanged in 3.57%, and decreased in 21.34%. Patients younger than 40 years demonstrated a significantly higher rate of AMH improvement compared with those aged 40 years and older (p < 0.05). No significant difference in treatment response was observed between patients with AFC 0.05).
Intraovarian autologous PRP injection significantly improves AMH levels in patients with diminished ovarian reserve undergoing IVF, particularly in women under 40 years of age
