Hysteroscopy Workshop

This practical workshop offers fertility specialists, gynecologists, and reproductive surgeons a targeted training experience in hysteroscopy for enhancing fertility outcomes. Participants will engage in a structured combination of evidence-based lectures and hands-on practice using hysteroscopy simulators, all under the expert supervision of Prof. Dr. Ossama Shawki.

Intended Learning Outcomes

By the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

Explain the function of diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy in infertility evaluation.

Identify frequent intrauterine abnormalities that impact fertility (such as polyps, fibroids, adhesions, and septum).

Carry out essential hysteroscopic procedures using simulators and training models.

Acquire advanced skills for adhesiolysis, myomectomy, and assessment of the endometrial cavity.

Implement safety standards, proper instrument handling, and problem-solving techniques during hysteroscopy.

Determine when hysteroscopy should be used as a primary versus supportive tool in ART cycles.
