Dr. Afaf Mohamed El Ghanimi is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist with extensive clinical experience across the UAE and Libya. She obtained her MBBCH from Al Fateh University in Tripoli and holds MRCOG from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (UK), in addition to Arab Board and Libyan Board certifications in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is currently practicing as a Consultant at Emirates Hospital Day Surgery in Abu Dhabi and has previously held consultant and specialist roles at Healthplus Women’s Center, Al Anamel Medical Center, and Tawam Hospital, Al Ain. Her professional expertise includes infertility and human reproduction, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, gynecologic laparoscopy, and obstetric ultrasound. Dr. El Ghanimi has contributed to research and publications in obstetrics and gynecology, participated as a speaker in international conferences, and completed advanced training in gynecologic laparoscopy and urogynecology. She has also been recognized with the L’Officiel Arab Women of the Year Award and is an active member of several regional and international professional societies, including the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Middle East Fertility Society.
