Dr. George L Botros

Dr. George L. Botros is a Consultant and Head of Gynecology with more than 27 years of experience in obstetrics, gynecology, infertility, and assisted reproduction. He holds an MBBCh from Cairo University, Egypt, an MSc in Advanced Gynecological Endoscopy from Surrey University in the UK, and a CCT in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the UK. He is a Member and Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG, FRCOG) and has completed advanced training certification in assisted reproduction through the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the British Fertility Society in the UK. Dr. Botros has led several internationally accredited centers of excellence, including serving as Lead of the BSGE-accredited endometriosis center at Liverpool Women’s Hospital in the UK for five years and as Master Surgeon and Lead of an SRC USA–accredited center of excellence in minimally invasive surgery and endometriosis at Corniche Hospital for six years. He has also served as Consultant in fertility and assisted conception and Chief of Gynecology at Corniche Hospital for three years, where he established a fertility preservation service and introduced multiple advanced minimally invasive gynecological procedures to Abu Dhabi for the first time. His most recent role is Division Chief and Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as Assisted Reproduction Consultant at Corniche Hospital, working across gynecology and fertility departments. His scope of practice focuses on gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, infertility, and assisted reproduction.
