Dr. Sawsan Youssif is an Anesthesia Specialist and Head of the Anesthesia Department with over two decades of clinical experience in anesthesia and intensive care. She is currently leading anesthesia services at FertiClinic Fertilization Centre in Khalifa City A, Abu Dhabi, where she oversees the safe and efficient delivery of anesthesia care, develops and maintains anesthesia protocols, and ensures patient safety and comfort throughout surgical and medical procedures Dr. Youssif holds a Clinical MD in Anesthesia and Intensive Care (2006) and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (1996). Her professional career includes senior anesthesia roles at Al Ahalia Hospital in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, Al Anamel Medical Center in Abu Dhabi, and Al Ribat University Hospital in Sudan, in addition to earlier training positions at Soba Teaching Hospital and Khartoum Teaching Hospital. Her responsibilities have included preoperative patient assessment, individualized anesthesia planning, perioperative management, and outpatient clinic care She is licensed as an Anesthesia Specialist by the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD) and holds permanent registration with the Sudan Medical Council. Dr. Youssif has participated in multiple regional and international courses and conferences in anesthesia and intensive care, including advanced life support and specialized anesthesia meetings in Abu Dhabi and Khartoum. She is fluent in Arabic and English
